#7 The people are friendly
One of the most enduring aspects of Australia’s culture is the friendliness of its people. More often than not, you’ll be greeted by a total stranger with a friendly, “G’day, mate!” along with a broad smile and a welcoming wave of the hand.
Australians tend to go out of their way to make outsiders feel welcome with a friendly and laid-back style. Sure, everyone has a bad day and a fit of temper now and then, but Australians take even those tough moments in stride.
It’s no wonder that Australia has so much to love.
